Cathy utilizes her training and experience as a Social Worker, Minister of Spiritual Peacemaking and Reiki Master Teacher to help move her clients to new levels of self-awareness, healing, personal transformation and inner peace. She brings a unique and expansive combination of professional training, life experience, personality and passion to her work with individuals and groups. Clients benefit from the depth of knowledge and wealth of practical tools and resources that Cathy has developed over her 25 years as a helping professional, along with her personal commitment to life-long learning, personal transformation and spiritual growth. She brings her expertise and energy to every interaction, whether working one-on-one or with a large group.She assists individuals and groups to identify their purpose and passion, recognize and release limiting beliefs and create a vision of the life they want. She supports people to move out of their story and into their vision, coaching them to become all that they can imagine for themselves. Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Bachelor's degree from Trinity College in 1978 and her Master's degree from the University of Chicago in 1981. She combines traditional psychotherapy with more recently developed therapies including cognitive and behavioral approaches, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy (DNMS).She offers individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy primarily with adults. She specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, adoption, co-dependency, and end of life issues. Lisa uses ego state (inner child) work and relaxation training strategies to assist clients in building inner strength and resources. She integrates the wisdom of Eastern philosophies and practices in a nondenominational way to counteract the anxieties and frenetic pace of the Western world and build inner peace for herself and her clients.

Nancy Mary Quinn brings to Spirit Matters her vast experience as a nationally certified licensed massage therapist and teacher. Upon her graduation from The Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in 1985, Nancy joined the faculty there, while also working as a holistic therapist in her private practice. She currently teaches at CCMT, The Ct. Center for Massage Therapy. Nancy has studied many other modalities and incorporates them into her work. She is a Reiki Master, herbalist, Spa practitioner, hypnotherapist, hypno-birther and Reflexologist, and is certified in Facial Rejuv and Quantum Touch. Lauren Mas , of Morning Sun Reiki, offers Reiki for both people and animals as a step toward healing the individual and thus, a step towards healing our precious planet. Sessions with people include soothing music and therapeutic aromas. Reiki creates a sense a deep relaxation where healing can take place. Reiki is extremely gentle, yet can yield powerful results. Following sessions with Lauren, clients have reported a reduction or ceasing of pain, more restful sleep, reduced anxiety and other positive effects during and after a Reiki treatment.
Lauren is fully insured and a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals and the International Natural Healers' Association. She holds a B.S. degree in Psychology from Springfield College and is also proud to be a volunteer member of the Integrative Medicine department at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. Born in Delhi, India, Davender holds a Masters degree in Economics from Delhi University and a PhD in Naturopathy and Yoga from The International Foundation of Natural Health and Yoga in New Delhi, India. Dr. Khokhar did charity work in New Delhi in addition to providing Ayurveda to diplomats at the American Embassy School. She returns to her birth country twice annually to continue her charity work. She has recently offered classes in Breathing Pranayama as well as Therapeutic Yoga at Manchester Community College as well as Pilates and meditation at other Connecticut locations.
